About
Kathy

I spent my childhood around horses. I started out as a trail rider and then made my way to 4-H and the open show scene. As an older youth, I started showing the Buckskin circuit, and when the time came to enter college, I attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Horse Management. After college, I went to work for several different horse farms, building my knowledge and abilities. During this time, I also worked on acquiring my Michigan 4-H Judges Card. Now, I own, operate, and manage Whitmer Perfromance Horses. Below are a few highlights of my working experience:
My work is primarily focused on Stock type horses, and I consider myself an all-around trainer. There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing the horses and riders in my guidance achieve the maximum potential within their individual athletic capabilities, and giving them the support they need to meet their goals both in and out of the show arena.
